Christmas Party (December 22) Freshmen Class 1

It is now time for my 1550 Freshmen Writing Class. It is Christmas Party time. I let the class take care of all aspects of the party to find out how they would do. The obviously did great!

While waiting for the party to start, I got a lot of these bunny Christmas signs throughout the classroom.

The party was officially started by Mr. Jack and Ms. Sue. They acted as our moderators throughout the party. They obviously were having a great time.

I had the first part of the party by special request. I wrote a poem for this class because they will have to take a final exam contrary to what I had told them earlier. The poem is in the blog later. The poem is also a Christmas poem to open the party.

Trysy, our Tibetan student, presented a beautiful Tibetan dances to help us celebrate Christmas week.

Games were played and for some of the students, Jack had to explain not twice but three times. All in fun, of course.

Here Tick plays the "blow out the candles with English words" game. He successfully blew out all the candles. This game was particularly fun for most of the students but not for the teacher as I lost right away.

If one lost a game, one had to pay. Here the victim was given a dare to go next door and wish all a Merry Christmas. She did a great job in fulfilling the dare.

The traditional Christmas caroling.

We also had several story share stories with us throughout the party, So much fun, so little time.

Mr. McGrady came really late so he had to sing some songs in front of the class. He did a really great job so we forgave him for completely.

The class gave me a really big and special Christmas Card. How wonderful!

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Here is the official class photo of Freshmen Class One.
