English Culture Week: Drama Night (October 28)

Tonight the English Culture Week kicked off with the English Drama Competition. This was a continuation of the English Culture Week from last semester, canceled due to the earthquakes. Their were five dramas presented during the course of the evening, all very good and all entertaining. The only problem was the electricity went off for about an hour just as the second drama go underway. This gave me a chance to return to our apartment and get my camera which I had forgotten. I actually participated in the fourth drama about Cinderella.

The Masters of Ceremony For The Evening

Three out of the four Masters of Ceremony. Grace Sprite, Craig and Fay. All looking sharp and professional

The four Masters of Ceremony with the addition of Nathan on the left. They did a great job throughout the evening.

The lovelies in portrait - Grace Sprite and Fay.

Fay asked if I knew who she was. I did not recognize her and neither did most of her classmates. This is an amazing transformation.

Pete, who borrowed my camera, told Fay to look sexy. She certainly accomplished that request in this portrait.

Finally, after I accused her of not being Fay, she say her name was Yaf. Transformation beyond belief. She looked and acted like a famous movie star or model. Gorgeous beyond belief.

Nathan had all the luck during the evening.

Cinderella: A Tale Of A Modern Romance

Ms. Cinderella (Harriet made a great Cinderella)

Mr. Prince Charming (Beryl made a great Prince)

The Evil Step Mother (Sunny playing or self)

Denial of Evil (Sunny was not really playing herself)

But, Cinderella, you gotta marry the Prince!

True love. Cinderella with her true love, the dishwasher.

Giselle filled in with great music and song during the intermission.

Right after the first drama, the electricity went off for about an hour.
